I am not a wedding photographer, but periodically I am hired to be a 2nd shooter at weddings. For Jill & Brett’s wedding I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting and assisting Jackie Cooper.

Their intimate wedding took place in the chapel at Central Christian Church in Wichita, KS. The chapel was beautifully decorated with candles.

Guess where their reception was… the Kansas State Fair grounds in Hutchinson. How cool is that! Their guests danced & had fun well into the night.
Jackie- Thank you for the opportunity to 2nd shoot this wedding for you.

I believe for every person that passes God gives life to a new one. This week one beautiful girl was lost while another was born.
1. You may have heard about Layla Grace. She was a beautiful two year old girl who lost her battle with cancer this week. I have only been following her story for the past 3 weeks and she touched my life so much. Read about her touching life & family, http://www.laylagrace.org.

2. A new baby girl was born Friday. I can’t wait to meet & photograph her. I’m beyond over the moon for them. Brad & Kayla, congrats on Baby L being born!
3. Saturday I was a 2nd shooter for the 3rd time with Jackie Cooper. I really enjoy working with her and helping her capture wedding moments. Hoping to showcase a few images from the February 13th wedding, I helped with, soon.
4. Did you go to the St. Patty’s Day parade in Wichita Saturday? We’ve gone the 2 previous years and really enjoy it. It’s cold, but just fun to get out with others for a small parade.
5. I’m two weeks behind on my 52 week project. Oops!
6. Session availability: I have two sessions still available in April & May. Check my Calender here to see what dates are available.
7. I forgot today started Daylight Savings Time and woke up at 10 am. Anyone else forget?

This blog is now viewable in mobile format for those of you with an iPhone, iPod touch, Andriod, or Blackberry Storm. You can view a list of my blog posts and choose which one you would like to view, instead of waiting for the whole front page of my blog to load. It’s a much faster & cleaner experience.

If you decide that the mobile format is not what you like, it can be easily changed back to the full view format under the posts shown on your mobile device.
I’m working on a custom icon, then you’ll be able to add it to your list like an app.
Pretty neat, huh. Do you want to add this feature to your blog? The WordPress Plugin is called WPtouch. Read more about it here.

I love these! Good work sarah. Loving the one in front of the blue garage… did you notice that you can see people in the windows?? Is it the bridal party?
Thanks Melissa! Yes, those are the girls in the bridal party. I thought it was neat they were all watching.
