I visited Walter’s Pumpkin Patch in Burns, Kansas with my brother and his family a few weeks back for my first time there. I loved it so much I knew I wanted to bring S back for Fall fun and to explore the place. If you didn’t visit this pumpkin patch – you must next year! It is huge, there is a lot of activities that are included in the entrance fee, and it’s not too long of a drive North of El Dorado, KS.
For my second trip there, we invited some of our friends to join us to spend time catching up, and let the kids have a lot of time running around playing. It was a hot near 90 degrees October day, we were grateful for the huge shade trees and enjoyed lots of laughs together.
Located in Burns, KS, this pumpkin patch was a great place for a family photo shoot and lifestyle portrait session for fall. Sarah Shah Portraits is based in El Dorado, Kansas. Find us on Facebook www.facebook.com/sarahshahportraits
It is finally feeling like Autumn – mostly in the mornings but I will take it! The leaves are changing to beautiful colors and the crisp cool morning air is great. Our Fall schedule is jam packed just like everyone else’s but I have been wanting to get out an shoot some photographs before the leaves fall off the trees entirely. I have been lucky to find quick 30 minutes here and there a few evenings before the sunset to head out and find different space in town.
More to come! We went out three evenings to different spots around El Dorado.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I was honored to be given the opportunity to meet a group of survivors. They each have unique stories and it was enlightening to briefly hear about their journeys. They were a great group of women full of life, laughter, and of course chatted the whole time! We had a great time during our quick 30 minute mini portrait session in NorthEast Wichita Kansas.
