I photographed baby Claire at 11 days old in my studio in Wichita, Kansas. Once we got her warm and cozy she was an excellent sleeper. I’m looking forward to watching her and her older siblings grow up.

1. Sign up for our email newsletter. You won’t receive spam emails – this newsletter is only sent out 2-6 times a year.

2. Read the newsletter and look for updates on SSP, special offers & incentives that you can qualify for, as well as other great local information.

3. Book your portrait session during the specific time frame to receive your special offer incentive.

2013 High School Senior Model Rep Program

Sarah Shah Portraits is now seeking for 2013 senior model representatives! We are looking for fun, energetic, social, and outgoing 2013 seniors to represent Sarah Shah Portraits. This is a fun opportunity to earn a free photo session, and more! Only 2 reps for each high school will be selected.

As a senior rep you will receive the following:

Free outdoor photo session ($150 value)
Digital watermarked images for Facebook
A custom Facebook cover photo and Twitter background
Personalized rep cards with your images to hand out
$20 in gift cards to any store you want for every session booked that is referred by you
Additional $100 gift card for every 10 sessions booked that were referred by you
10% off any prints and products from your session

As a senior rep you are expected to do the following:

Complete your senior photo session during the months of April, May, June of 2012
Promote Sarah Shah Portraits (spread the word, show off your photos, pass out rep cards)
Be in the 2013 graduation class
Sign a model release and have parents’ permission
Tag me on your session photos on Facebook
Be outgoing, positive, have fun, and earn some gift cards!

If you choose to do another photo session later in the school year, you may do so and receive 50% off a session package.

These albums are beautiful! The pictures truly don’t do them justice – you have to see them in person.

Three sizes to choose from: 5×7, 8×10.5, and 12×12
The images are printed directly on the pages of the albums, and are specially constructed to layflat.
Cover options: black leather, brown leather, black linen, chocolate brown, pewter, and icy pearl. I do have sample swatches for all of the cover options.

Mine on Monday | Valentine Edition | Sarah Shah Portraits

Today’s Mine on Monday is featuring our new artwork. It’s valentine themed, being pink and having hearts, but goes great with the shades of pink in S’s room so it will be in there all year long. I have my Mommy goggles on – I love it so much just because she painted it.

This is such an easy project (and cheap! it’s a $7 12×12 canvas from Hobby Lobby) that you should do with your kids! S painted one layer of paint all over the whole canvases, then once it was dry I drew heart shapes and had her paint a dark pink color within the shapes as good as she could. I then outlined the heart shapes in black. I got the idea from Jodie, last year.

Emily & Aiden | Wichita Kansas Children Photography

Emily, Aiden, and their parents came to my small studio in Wichita, Kansas a little over a week ago. These kids were so much fun – full of energy, silly smiles, and great laughs! We had a great time at their mini portrait session, setup with the valentine’s accents. Plus, their Mom brought a few great props in to add to their session.

Do you use Instagram (yep, I’m still waiting for the android version of this app) on your iphone? This would be a great way to display your printed photos from that app. Wondering where to print your Instagram photos from? I just learned today, from my friend Emily, that Printstagr.am prints the images just as they look on your phone.
